Steve lives in Graniteville, SC and is an industrial trainer for the Westinghouse Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. He is 43 years old, his hometown is Hammondsport, NY and other hobbies include autocrossing a supercharged Toyota MR2. 

Steve grew up on a farm in the southern tier of New York state. He spent some time in the U.S. Navy and worked at a few nuclear power plants before settling down in South Carolina . Steve started working with John Irvine's Can-Am Express drag boat 7 years ago and has been hooked on drag boat racing ever since. He joined the Speed Sports team 6 years ago.

Steve is responsible for engine rebuilding between rounds.
