Mike has been with the Speed Sports top fuel race team for about 8 years. He is a single father of a daughter and is a Master Technician with Bommarito Cadillac in the St. Louis area. He is also in the Army Reserve. He lives in St. Louis with his daughters, Keri, 19, and Kayla, 15. He is retired from the Army Reserve with 23 years of service including two tours of duty in the Persian Gulf war.

Mike’s responsibilities with the team consist of all aspects of the race engine preparation at the shop plus disassembly and assembly between rounds at the races.

Mike's hobbies are hunting and drag racing.
